Ryo Ueda is one of those names that's everywhere once you start looking. With well over 400 cards to his name, he's among the most prolific artists in the entire history of the game — you have almost certainly held a stack of his cards without ever clocking who drew them. He's been at it since the early 2000s and works across just about every kind of card there is, which is exactly why he's so easy to overlook: he's not tied to one showy signature, he's just been reliably, quietly excellent for two decades. One of the game's true workhorses.
