Himeno is one of the longest-serving artists in the game, and one of the most loved — for good reason. Her cards have a soft, glowing warmth to them: bright colours layered with gentle light and shadow, and for years her little signature was tiny white specks scattered through the art like floating dust or stars, especially on outdoor scenes. You can feel how much she enjoys the work — even decades in, every card looks like she cared about it. She's also drawn comics and picture books, which honestly tracks; there's a storybook softness to everything she makes.
