Scarlet & Violet checklist

Scarlet & Violet is the set that kicked off the whole current era, back in March 2023. It brought back the "ex" cards, returned to those clean silver borders, and — most importantly for collectors — introduced the Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare, the painterly full-art chase cards that have defined modern collecting ever since. The mascots Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex lead the set, with the Miraidon ex special illustration rare the headline chase, though a stunning Gardevoir ex tends to command the most.
