Matsuno makes some of the cheeriest cards in the whole game. Her style is soft, pastel and unashamedly cute — her Pokémon are almost always smiling, mid-play or just generally being adorable, and the gentle backgrounds add to that warm, storybook mood. Her Ralts card is a lovely example, gazing up in wide-eyed wonder at the academy in Paldea. In a hobby that often chases drama and power, there's something refreshing about an artist who just wants to make you smile. If cute is your thing, her cards are a joy to hunt down.
