Hidden Fates is the set that kicked off collectors' obsession with shiny cards. It came out in 2019, and its big draw is the Shiny Vault — a subset packed with shiny versions of fan-favourite Pokémon that people fell head over heels for. The card everyone wants is the shiny Charizard-GX (SV49), and it's still one of the most loved cards from that whole era.
